Situation
When materials processing facility specialising in aggregates, concrete, and recycled building materials required support to replace an ageing and unreliable pneumatic panel. The existing solution had started to fail, leading to unplanned plant downtime and operational inefficiencies.
Having previously supported the site with a solution that had proven to be robust and suitable for the environment, Camozzi and HAYLEY DEXIS | Fluid Power were again approached to assist with the latest issue.
Solution
A Camozzi and customer representative visited the site to assess the application and ensure a seamless replacement of the existing control panel. The goal was to replace the incumbent panel as quickly as possible, maintaining high operational efficiency while improving system protection and durability.
Engaging with the customer to understand their demands and preferences we set about the new proposal. We specified a complete control panel which would enable a seamless plug-and-play solution for the customer.
Within just 24 hours, a detailed quote was provided. Once approved, the Camozzi technical team developed CAD drawings based on the existing panel layout. The design ensured a straightforward installation and hassle-free future maintenance. From concept to completion—including design, build, and testing—the entire process was successfully delivered within just four weeks from order placement.
The new Camozzi control panel was produced with enhanced ingress protection, ensuring excellent durability for the instrumentation and electrical components in the facility’s demanding environment. The new solution provides a longer service life and reduces costly downtime by preventing valve failures and electrical faults.
